StaysmartNYC is a premier short-term corporate and vacation rental provider of quality furnished apartments.  We have over 30 apartments all throughout Manhattan and we are rapidly increasing our portfolio everyday!  Unlike other brokerage firms, we directly manage all of our units - meaning that you are dealing with the actual property managers of the units.  Therefore, if there are any maintenance issues with an apartment, we will be able to quickly and efficiently handle the situation to rectify the problem.  Other firms will not be able to offer this type of service, as they merely act as a broker for the rental, and do not have the capacity to act as a principal.

Damon Bae is a Managing Director of City Lights Real Estate in charge of the short term furnished rental division - StaysmartNYC.com.  Damon received his Masters in Business Administration from Georgetown University in 2003 with a concentration in Finance.  He received a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in 1997 majoring in Business Management and Marketing. Prior to joining City Lights Real Estate, Damon was a trader at Deutsche Bank, as well as a stockbroker for Prime Charter LTD.  Damon is a licensed real estate agent handling various commercial and residential real estate transactions.  He also manages over 20 buildings in Manhattan.

Anne Chen received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Pace University in 2009 with concentration in Management. She joined City Lights Real Estate in late 2009 as an associate and is in charge of leasing and customer service.  Prior to joining Staysmart, she was a restaurant manager of a popular local Manhattan cafe/lounge. She also worked in the hedge fund department at JPMorganChase.  In her down time, she likes to explore the culinary arts.

Ilana Brizel is a born and bred New Yorker. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Emerson College in 2009. She joined City Lights Real Estate as an associate in May 2010. Prior to City Lights, she was a preschool teacher on the Upper East Side, and worked in the education departments of various theaters and theater workshops in Boston and New York City. She also interned for the Public Relations and Special Events department at Saks Fifth Avenue. She turned her interests towards the real estate and hospitality business because she enjoys meeting new people everyday. She spends her spare time with family and friends, and watching the New York Yankees. Go Yankees!
